Participation in the Closing Ceremony of UK PACT Phase I and Launch Ceremony of UK PACT Phase II

On the 3rd and 4th of June 2025, Techne Praxis participated in the closing ceremony of the UK Partnering for Accelerated Climate Transition (PACT) Phase I and the launch ceremony of UK PACT Phase II “Pathways for a Sustainable Future: Advancing Energy Efficiency in Indonesia”. The ceremony was hosted by UK in Indonesia - British Embassy Jakarta and launched by Amanda McLoughlin OBE. Through the UK PACT Phase I programme, Techne Praxis had the opportunity to develop their Integrated Transit and Development (ITD) model in Secondary City-Regions such as the Greater Semarang Area, supporting the sustainable growth of Indonesia’s low-carbon transport sector. During the event, Techne Praxis participated by hosting a booth that shows their achievements during UK PACT Phase I. This includes the preliminary study on Transit Oriented Development (TOD) and Land Value Capture (LVC) implementation in the Kedungsepur Metropolitan Area, which led to the development of the ITD model. The research efforts are highlighted through a curated set of outputs, which are ceremoniously presented to Djarot Tri Wardhono and Amin Hudaya, from the Ministry of Transportation Republic Indonesia. A special highlight of the event was a panel discussion on Day 2, in which our Associate Director, Iqbal Maulana Achmad, participated as a key speaker to share Techne Praxis’ process for development of the ITD model as a framework that links urban development with sustainable urban transit solutions.
