DPD RI London Work Visit and Benchmarking Program

On the 9th of May 2025, Padraic Kelly and Puspita Galih Resi, the Senior and Managing Director of Techne Praxis International, led the Council of Representatives from the Republic of Indonesia (DPD RI) [ House of Regional Representative (DPD) RI ] in their London work visit to King’s Cross Regeneration area. The Council of Representatives in attendance of this work visit were Gusti Kanjeng Ratu Hemas, The Vice Chancellor of DPD RI, Carel Simon Petrus Suebu, The Vice Chancellor of Komite I, H. Sudirman Haji Uma, K.H. Muhammad Mursyid, Jialyka Maharani, Ir. Abraham Liyanto, Muhammad Hidayattollah, Abcandra Muhammad Akbar, A. Ian Ali Baal Masdar, and Sopater Sam. The purpose of this trip is to draw insights from a successful case of urban redevelopment that effectively integrates infrastructure investment, heritage conservation, placemaking and sustainability. The lessons learned will support the drafting and revision of Indonesia’s Urban Act (RUU Perkotaan). The Techne Praxis key leaders hope that the work visit was inspirational and insightful to meaningfully support the DPD RI objectives for policy and legislative development.
